Last week I had to go in and take a temperament test, which I passed with flying colors. Like I could possibly be a mean Airedale?
So this morning, I was dropped off and said a big goodbye to Mom and Dad. That's when all the fun began. I played all day long. It was GREAT! My neighbor dog, Doolin, was at daycare too, so we played for hours!! When Mom came to pick me up she was asked how old I was. Mom replied that I will be two in July and the worker told her she was surprised as I was quite calm while playing, so they thought I was a senior dog. Oh my! Mom just laughed and said maybe I was a bit nervous being in daycare for the very first time.
Now, I'm so tired, all that play really wore me out. I'm heading back to bed to get my rest, I've got two more days of daycare ahead of me. Oh dog!

They were impressed with your maturity! I get the other way around - I'm an old dog (almost 10!) and people think I'm a puppy. It sounds like you had a great time. I bet you will sleep for a week when you are done.

Those people that thought you are a senior dog should see Penny chasing our new big baby brother. She's 9 and she still runs like a 2year old! Mom's afraid she is going to drop dead from a heart attack or something when they do zoomies around the living room.

Hey Kirby...so they were gonna give u a cane and dentures at daycare??? HAHAHAHAAA!! Show em tomorrow how old you are!!!! I think Babystan's gonna start goin' to daycare too...he's a big boy...all u dales are and he loves to run and jump and play with the other dogs...I'd fail that temper test miserably...I don't do well with the butt sniffin' part...hey, I sniff, but don't sniff me....GRRRR!!

Isn't daycare pawsome!? I love it! My girl sends me twice a week in winter and once a week durring the rest of the year. When I get home in the evening after daycare, I eat my dinner and then sleep all the way through to the next day!
My girl and my grandma think that you sound a lot like me and can't wait to meet you. People are always surprised to hear my age too. They say I'm "awfully calm for a terrier". Most people think it's a wonderful quality but some think I'm a weirdo because of it.
You better rest up for the rest of the week!

Oh, man, I miss the daycare soooo much, but there was that boxer "incident" and plus they said if I came back I'd have to leave my gajingles at home.
You might get hooked on it and want to go even when your dad is at home!
