Thinking of Bogart's Family & Honest Scrap Award

The water has been leaking from our eyes around here a lot lately. We are hoping and praying for Bogart's Dad Klaus. He's very ill and needs all the paw power and positive thoughts that we can send to him. Klaus is not only the Father of the much loved Bogart, but he is the mastermind behind the Chez Bogart jerky treats, which are yummers! So, please keep Klaus, Lulu and of course Bogart in your thoughts.

Neko passed the Honest Scrap award on to me. I'm supposed to write 10 honest things about myself and then pass this award and task on to seven other bloggers. Neko, I hope you enjoy what I write, and thank you for the pawsome award!
  1. I am food obsessed, so that's probably why I have a weight issue. He he! I'll do ANYTHING for a treat, and I mean anything.
  2. Accident prone is a good way to describe what I am. I am at the vet almost every two months. I've had Panosteitis, Pneumonia, E-Coli, a puncture wound on my back, one on my paw pad, an injured neck and a middle glute injury that required 12 weeks of therapy. Sheesh!
  3. I absolutely love my Veterinarian. Maybe it's because I'm there so often.
  4. While I love my Vet, I love my Mom more than anyone. I wait at the door for her to come home from work everyday. My world basically revolves around her.
  5. I love the snow, and each time it snows more, I can't wait to get out and romp around in the snow!
  6. I have no patience at all. I cry and whine if we ride in the car because I want to get there now. It drives Mom and Dad crazy!
  7. I think of myself as the mayor of the street we live on. I know and get along with all the doggies on my block, and I get everyone out and playing together.
  8. I love tennis balls, I love to chew on them and pop them. Mom can only buy the real tennis balls now, since they don't break as easy as the pet store kinds.
  9. I am totally spoiled by my Grandma and Grandpa. I've got them wrapped around my paw and they give me all kinds of toys and treats. It's great being an only dog!
  10. I am a noisy sleeper. I make all kinds of grunts, groans, growls and howls while I sleep.

I know that I'm supposed to pass this on, but I've been behind on my blog reading, so I don't know whose done this one and who hasn't. Let me get caught up and then I'll pass it on.

Let's keep our paws crossed for Bogie and his family!!

'Till next time,

Hey, Kirbs!

We're right there with you praying for Bogart's dad and mama! We're hoping for some good news soon!

Congratulations on your award! Neko is a very discerning pup to give it to you. I'm laughing that you're the Mayor of Kirbytown, but I'm not at all surprised that you stir things up and get dogs to play together.

Now, you mentioned a weight problem... I don't get it. You look fine to ME!

And, remember. There's no shame in being a mama's boy (I should know)!

Goober love & smooches,

We totally agree with you on snow, Kirby! We sure wish we lived at the North Pole where there is always snow around!
Our paws are crossed and double-crossed for Bogie and his dad and mom!

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

We are thinking about Bogart's dad. He needs a miracle! Thanks for sharing all those answers with us. I am absolutely food obsessed too! Maybe we two should gang out someday & just beg for food.

Ciao, Kirby! It was so nice of you to stop by my bloggie and chat. I read your "Honest Scrap" list and wanted to tell you that I make all kinds of growly, yodel-y, grumbly noises in my sleep, too. I guess we both just have lots to say!

I love your bloggie picture with the city skyline behind you. The composition is magnifico!

Tanti baci!

Hi Kirby, I see you are watching us hehehe.
You are the greatest guy in Chicago! Obama was ok but not as sweet as you. I do wish we could meet. I like your list, especially admitting to be food obsessed, me too. But Grandma says I'm "big boned" that means it's ok, just like Momma.
I learned to bark for food this week, first it started as "speaking" for a treat and then I turned it into barking for pizza crusts. I got my front paws up on Momma's knees, she was scared straight... Lots of crusts and then next morning cereal.
We got more snow this morning, come visit, we can go Freedom Park and play with the devils.

I loved your list and YES Bogart's family needs our Airezen right now big time. I am also accident prone, in fact I am fighting off a $300 vet bill ear infection that we found out about today. Love,Neko

Those are some interesting facts about you, Kirby! Except for the accident prone part. Stay safe now.
