Look who's back and blogging!

Hi Friends! I'm sorry I've been away for so long. Trust me, it wasn't intentional. The day Mom took me to the vet (see last post), I wouldn't get into the car, so Mom had to throw my 64 pound body into the back of our SUV, in the process, she strained her back...BAD. Man, Mom was in major, major pain. Her hopes of it feeling better the next day were wrecked and she cried her way through the weekend. Things didn't start getting better 'till mid-week when her doctor gave her vickey-din and muscle relaxers. It took nearly a week for her to start feeling normal. So, I've spent LOTS of time hanging out with Dad lately. We've done all kinds of guy things, like:

cruising around looking for some cute ladies for me

adding some new tricks to my repertoire, still haven't mastered the treat on nose trick, I'm just too anxious to stay still
and nothing beats being rewarded with an oh-so-yummy carrot cupcake for doing good work!
I hope you all have been well, I'll try to make my rounds this week. Mom swears that she won't hurt her back again and make me miss out on so much blogging. Although she said she'd take the meds again. He he!!

'Till next time,

Kirby

Oh my, sorry to hear that your mom strained her back really badly. You're not all that heavy compared to me actually but my mommy sometimes strain her legs carrying me. I hope she's okay now...

Oh dear your poor mum. Looks like you're going to have to get yourself in the back of the SUV from now on matie.
We hope she has recovered and back to her old self.

Your poor Mom! We hope she's feeling better soon. Dad's are an OK substitute...but Mom's rule.

Unless, of course, Dad's want to give us yummy carrot cupcakes. Then they win.

He is really entertaining...

... hey I found a blog today by some dogs calling themselves "wire fox terriers" ~ they look just like airedales. What's the difference? (You can find the blog link at the bottom of my vol 2 latest post: if you don't know the breed, see what you think)

We're glad you had a good time with your dad, but we sure hope your mom's back is better very soon! Our mom did the same thing the last time she took Penny to the groomer. Penny refused to jump into the back of the Tahoe and Mom lifted all 69 pounds of her. Mom was in major pain for several days!

Aire-hugs,

I am glad your mum is feeling better and you are back. We missed you. I hope your mum can find a scary eye photo for my mums contest. Are you serious? His face swelled up like a blowfish? I will be very careful. That is scary.

Kirby! I sure hope you are taking good care of your mommy! I do hope those vikey things are making her feel better. Dude you really need to learn how to jump into that SUV, remember there is always food at the end of a ride!!!

Now about that puppy! Please have her take the one my mommy wanted so she won't come to my house. I hear she was cute and sweet but I am not ready to give up my spot yet!!!!!

Slurps,
Willow

64 pounds! Man Kirby, I tell ya I feel skinny. I think I'm gonna have to have mom put me on an all-treat diet so I can catch up and build more Aire-muscle (I hover in the mid-to-low 50s).

Sending Aire Lovin to your mama :)

Love,
Bogart
