Left home alone

So, earlier this week, Mom came home from work early, I got fed early and taken on a nice long walk, and then they left me. That's right, they up and left me and went to the Cubs game! How could they?
I decided I'd let Mom and Dad share some of their pictures from the game. I guess I'm just that sweet of a dog. He he! Mom and Dad had bleacher seats, so they had a good view of the entire game. This is Mom's pic of her favorite cubby, Ryan Theriot.
The famous Wrigley Field scoreboard
The Cubs bats were hot that night, they won 19-5! With all that hitting, Mom and Dad didn't get home till real late, and by then, I really had to go!
Mom felt bad about leaving me for so long, so she got me a little something at the game. Check it out, it's a GIRL cubby bear!
I don't care if it's a girl or a boy, it's good chewing no matter what!
Woo Hoo, thanks Mom and Dad! Next time, take me with you!!
'Till next time,
Kirby

Glad your peeps got to see the Cubs! My girl is a diehard fan since childhood. Me, I don't get a game where the object is to get rid of a ball as fast as you can by throwing it or hitting it away from you. NO RESPECT for the ball, I say.

I hope you get taken out to the ballgame sometime this season. It's a great place to pick up stray sunflower seeds and other goodies the hoomans drop when there's a good play.

Goober love,
Stanley

Hello Kirby

What a shame you were left behind while the Humans went out to see the baseball game. We liked the Teddy bear, is it still in one piece?

Dexter here!
Sure, they left you alone, but did you get to run wild around the house? My humans are always watching the Red Sox, but they say the game is easier to see from the recliners.

Kirby...the Pirates have "bring your dog with ya" nite a lot here...probably at least every couple of weeks...perhaps the Cubbies do that too...or maybe you should come here and we all could go to a game...I'd love to chase that ball!!!!!

Kirby...you pull at your human's heart strings, even when you're not around! We all do it, it's part of being an Airedale!

Also, May 8th is National Stuffie Appreciation Day! Get out your favorite pictures of you and your stuffies!

Poor Kirby! At least they felt guilty and brought you home a stuffie! A little hot dog from the ballpark would have been nice, too. That cures a lot of guilt!

Aire-hugs,
